Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests promptly with a friendly demeanor. Provide detailed menu information to guests, including daily specials and recommendations. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining proper sanitation standards. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns promptly. Process payments accurately using cash registers or POS systems while adhering to cash handling procedures. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure that orders are prepared correctly and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness of tables, service areas, and dining environments in accordance with food safety regulations. Skills Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment. Basic math skills for accurate order taking and payment processing. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations to ensure customer health and safety. Ability to sanitize work areas and equipment regularly to maintain hygiene standards. Sales skills to upsell menu items and enhance guest experiences through recommendations.
