Home Merchandiser (Part-Time)

Location Retail Support Center (Bellevue) Requisition ID 10516 # of Openings 1 THE ROLE As a key member of our Product & Merchandising Group (PMG), the Home Merchandiser is responsible for driving visual merchandising and display standards for Health & Home departments company wide. This position will travel to all our locations, working closely with Health & Home department leadership, Store Director Teams, and the Housewares Category Manager to ensure successful program execution. This is a Part Time (24 hrs/week) position. MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU’D DO Leads the development and implementation of Housewares visual merchandising strategies and standards company wide. Collaborates closely with the Housewares Category Manager to ensure gross margin targets are achieved. Conducts frequent in-store visits to ensure Health & Home visual merchandising, playbook, and planogram standards are executed. Works closely with Health & Home teams to create innovative and best-in-market displays. Ensures promotional, holiday, and new items are displayed in a timely manner. Cultivates a commitment to merchandising excellence within team members by providing clear direction, thoughtful communication, and training support. Actively shares product information with team members and guests. Memorializes merchandising standards through the creation of lookbooks. Responsible for planning and executing store resets. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR Minimum two years of successful experience as a key leader in visual merchandising for hard goods. Proven success creating best-in-market product displays and training team members to do the same. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of visual merchandising best practices. Willingness to regularly travel to all our locations in the Puget Sound Area. Embraces feedback and direction; actively seeks regular feedback to continuously improve. Demonstrated ability to positively impact and inspire team members and vendors. Exhibits a high level of self-motivation; takes initiative; problem solves. Works collaboratively while building trust-based relationships with team members. Possesses insatiable curiosity; uses creativity to overcome unexpected challenges. Experience using MS Office Suite.
