Head of Business Development PGA TOUR Studios

The Best Players Need the Best People.This role is responsible for developing, structuring and securing new revenue and studio utilization opportunities across PGA TOUR Studios' content, production, technology and platform capabilities, converting strategic priorities into executed partnerships, revenue-generating deals and scalable business opportunities.This position is closely aligned with the organization's commercial functions, including Media (Media Sales and Business Development, Broadcasting and International Media)and Corporate Partnerships, to bring PGA TOUR Studios capabilities to market in a coordinated and commercially disciplined way. The role focuses on deal execution, new revenue delivery and market activation, leading partner engagement and closing/supporting opportunities across content, programming, digital platforms and technology.The role supports the monetization of PGA TOUR technology and digital platforms by structuring partnerships, licensing opportunities and commercial applications aligned with defined strategic priorities, ensuring all opportunities are coordinated with enterprise commercial strategies and existing rights frameworks. The position plays a key role in expanding PGA TOUR Studios capabilities and revenue beyond the PGA TOUR's core media and sponsorship businesses by bringing new opportunities to market and driving deal closure.Qualifications15+ years of progressive experience in business development, partnerships or within sports, media or entertainmentBachelor's degree; graduate degree preferredExperience managing sales pipelines and developing outbound target listsProven experience in selling white-labelled production services and sport technology products.Proven track record of originating and closing complex, multi-party dealsStrong understanding of content development, production and distribution ecosystemsExperience monetizing technology, digital platforms or intellectual property preferredStrong financial and commercial acumen, including deal structuring and negotiationExcellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and external partnersEstablished network across production and technology partners preferredExperience in sports or large-scale live event environments preferredResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end execution of commercial deals across live, non-live and platform-based opportunities for PGA TOUR Studios, in partnership with Media Business Development teamStructure, negotiate and close partnerships aligned to enterprise prioritiesOwn and deliver against revenue targets tied to PGA TOUR Studios-led commercial opportunitiesActivate defined strategic priorities through targeted partner outreach, packaging and pitchingDevelop commercial frameworks and partnership models that translate creative, production and technology capabilities into sellable offeringsBring opportunities to market with speed, clarity and strong commercial positioningWork in close coordination with Media, Corporate Partnerships, Technology and PGA TOUR Studios leadership to ensure aligned go-to-market executionPartner with production, content and operations teams to align deal structure with delivery capabilitiesServe as a central point of coordination for cross-functional deal development across content, production and technologyBuild and manage relationships with key external partners across content, production and technology ecosystemsPartner with Legal and Finance to structure deals, finalize contracts and align revenue modelsBuild and manage a disciplined pipeline of near-term and mid-term revenue opportunitiesPrioritize opportunities based on commercial viability, speed to market and strategic alignmentTrack performance, conversion and deal flow to inform decision-making and resource allocationSupport the commercialization of new business lines by operationalizing and monetizing opportunities once definedSupport the commercialization of studio capabilities by developing service offerings, pricing models and partnership structures that drive utilization and revenueSupport opportunities for third-party productions and external clients within studio and production environmentsEnsure all opportunities align with existing rights, partner agreements and enterprise commercial strategyProvide market feedback and partner insight to inform future opportunity developmentHelp scale repeatable offerings into sustainable revenue streamsLead special projects, as requiredJ-18808-Ljbffr
