Working under general supervision, this role performs technical tasks requiring intermediate knowledge of engineering principles and practices. The position focuses on the creation, modification, and maintenance of site development plans using industry-standard design tools such as Autodesk Civil 3D and/or Bentley MicroStation.Job DescriptionSupport engineering teams in the development of technical deliverables under general supervisionCreate, update, and maintain technical drawings, documentation, and project filesDevelop site development plans using Autodesk Civil 3D and/or Bentley MicroStationPerform basic computations, including material quantity estimates and dimensional checksPrepare alignments, pipe networks, plan/profile sheets, grading plans, and surfacesCoordinate deliverables with other project disciplines to minimize design conflicts and interferencesApply knowledge of company Quality Program standards to ensure accurate and compliant deliverablesStay current with applicable standards, systems, document control practices, and departmental proceduresSupport continuous improvement and change management initiativesUtilize digital tools including CAD, BIM, and 3D modeling platforms to enhance project outcomesProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering techniciansProactively research and apply new technologies and evolving processesSkills RequiredTypically a minimum of 2 years of related work experienceMust Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D and/or Bentley MicroStationWorking knowledge of: Alignments, Pipe networks, Plan and profile sheets, SectionsProposed grading and surface modelingStrong attention to detailAbility to interpret design inputs and translate them into accurate technical deliverablesEffective coordination and communication skillsEducation/Training/CertificationsHigh School Degree or EquivalentAssociate Degree in Drafting or Engineering Design-Related Technology preferredAdditional RequirementsAbility to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected), which may including Criminal/civil background check, Drug screening, and Motor vehicle records searchPay Rate/SalaryPay Rate $55.75/ hr (Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location)
