Ensure that all safety standards are maintained.Review inventory against anticipated work load to maintain adequate stocking levels. Prepare requisitions for re-stocking and submit to the Manufacturing Manager.Design and implement work methods and procedures to increase productivity and improve service.Organize and maintain paint booth and blast area to achieve clean and efficient operations. Safely dispose of all waste that's generated during these processes.Responsible for masking units/product, mixing viscosity, spraying, etc.Performs other duties and assignments as directed by management.What key skills and experience do I need?High School diploma or equivalent with previous experience in a similar role. Formal training in industrial painting is preferred.Specialized knowledge of industrial painting techniques and tools, painting with inorganic zinc based paints, water based zinc paints and epoxy.Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.Must have good organizational and communication skills and ability to work well with external and internal customers.Able to read and interpret drawings and follow work instructions.Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals; use basic hand held measuring tools.Related experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
