Head of Admissions, Alpha - $200,000/year USD

CrossoverColmesneil, TXApril 28th, 2026
While most enrollment positions prioritize volume, this role is designed to uphold standards.Alpha is developing one of the world's most ambitious educational models. Our campuses integrate rigorous academics, technology-enhanced learning, and elevated expectations for both students and faculty. Students routinely exceed national learning benchmarks, supported by measurable data. Afternoons are dedicated to depth, autonomy, and practical skill development. The model delivers results. But success depends entirely on enrolling the right families. This is your responsibility. You will manage the complete enrollment process for a campus, beginning with initial inquiry and concluding with onboarding. This is an end-to-end accountability role. You determine how families perceive us, how well they grasp the model, and whether enrollment choices are made with full understanding. You will evaluate fit, facilitate meaningful dialogue, and advise against enrollment when appropriate. Maximum enrollment is not the objective. Alignment is.We welcome candidates from premium service backgrounds outside conventional education: selective private schools, competitive programs, luxury hospitality, executive assistance, exclusive membership organizations, or entrepreneurial operators who have directly overseen high-value client experiences from start to finish. What counts is your capacity to execute a high-touch, multi-phase process with discernment, precision, and accountability. If your career has been defined by delivering exceptional service where trust, discretion, and quality shape the brand, this role will be a natural extension—applied to work that meaningfully impacts outcomes. This is a full-time, salaried, on-site position. We are currently hiring in Santa Barbara, Santa Monica, San Francisco, Palo Alto, Piedmont, Palm Beach, Charlotte, and Raleigh. Relocation assistance is provided. What You Will Be DoingTaking full ownership of the enrollment experience for prospective families, from initial contact through final onboarding.Facilitating needs-based conversations to assess alignment before introducing solutions or advising on next steps.Overseeing 20+ concurrent family relationships across various enrollment stages, with transparent tracking and timely follow-up.Delivering campus tours, student shadow visits, and decision-stage discussions that articulate outcomes, expectations, and the ideal candidate profile.Keeping CRM and enrollment systems (HubSpot and SIS) current and accurate to enable forecasting, prioritization, and consistent service delivery. What You Won’t Be DoingEmploying transactional or aggressive sales techniques.Accepting families who are not a good fit merely to reach enrollment targets.Overseeing a large team or working through complex approval hierarchies.Handing off responsibility for the family experience to other roles.Operating remotely.
