Job Title : Cybersecurity Business Partner AnalystLocation : 100% RemoteKey ResponsibilitiesBusiness Partnership & Cybersecurity ConsultingServe as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and cybersecurity teams across operational environmentsPartner with business leaders, infrastructure teams, and OT teams to ensure projects and systems are designed and maintained securelyTranslate cybersecurity findings into business-relevant risks, recommendations, and action plansHelp teams understand security priorities without creating unnecessary friction or roadblocksVulnerability Management & Risk Reduction Review vulnerabilities identified by internal threat exposure teams and determine:What the vulnerabilities meanPotential attack paths and exposure risksMitigation vs. remediation strategiesRecommendations for business owners to reduce riskSupport prioritization of remediation efforts based on operational impact and business riskTrack remediation commitments, timelines, and follow-throughOT Security & Incident SupportSupport cybersecurity efforts across OT environments, hybrid IT/OT systems, and gas infrastructure operationsHelp evaluate secure network design, segmentation, and Zero Trust strategiesAssist with micro-segmentation initiatives and secure architecture reviewsServe as a business-side liaison during investigations, incidents, and escalations when cybersecurity events occurSupport onboarding of new projects, acquisitions, vendors, and legacy systems from a cybersecurity perspectiveReporting, Communication & Process ImprovementCreate clear risk summaries, leadership updates, and actionable recommendations for stakeholdersDevelop repeatable templates, documentation, and workflows to improve operational efficiencyHelp identify recurring patterns and systemic issues across the cybersecurity landscapeMaintain professionalism and strong communication in a highly visible, fully onsite business-facing roleRequired Qualifications8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, OT security, infrastructure security, or related operational security environmentsStrong experience in OT / ICS cybersecurity (required)Experience supporting gas infrastructure, industrial environments, or critical infrastructure operations strongly preferredStrong understanding of vulnerability management, remediation planning, and operational risk reductionNetworking and infrastructure security knowledgeAbility to explain cybersecurity risks clearly to business stakeholders and operational teamsStrong business-facing communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and operate in fast-paced enterprise environmentsProfessionalism and willingness to work fully onsite in Houston, TXPreferred QualificationsExperience with micro-segmentation and Zero Trust initiativesCloud security experienceWeb implementation security experienceIncident response support experienceHands-on cybersecurity background across multiple domains (not purely GRC)Experience with mergers & acquisitions security reviewsExperience building home labs, personal cyber projects, or demonstrated self-driven technical learningCertifications such as CISSP, cloud security, or network security certifications (only if backed by strong applied experience)What We’re Looking ForSomeone who can truly speak the OT language and understands operational environments—not just traditional IT securityA candidate who understands vulnerabilities beyond ticket tracking and can explain real remediation strategiesStrong communicator who can translate security into business decisions and influence stakeholdersA hands-on thinker who can jump into incidents when needed while still operating strategically with the businessSomeone who values ownership, professionalism, and in-person collaborationWhat Will Make Someone Stand OutReal OT cybersecurity experience—not just compliance or reportingExperience supporting gas infrastructure or industrial operationsStrong examples of applying cybersecurity knowledge in real-world environmentsAbility to explain technical concepts simply and clearlyDemonstrated progression across multiple cybersecurity disciplines rather than staying narrowly focused in one area
