Modular Construction Project ManagerPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead prefab modular construction projects from preconstruction through site installation and closeout. The role focuses on coordinating MEP systems, managing schedules and budgets, ensuring compliance with building codes, and overseeing off-site fabrication and on-site installation. The successful candidate will use Procore and Autodesk tools to manage documentation, coordination, and quality control while driving timely, on-budget delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesLead project delivery for prefab/modular construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality targets are met.Develop, maintain and communicate detailed project schedules; coordinate sequencing between factory fabrication and on-site installation.Manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost control; prepare and review estimates, change orders, and monthly invoices.Coordinate multidisciplinary MEP design and installation, resolving conflicts between trades and ensuring integration with modular units.Oversee off-site manufacturing coordination with prefabrication vendors, including production tracking, quality inspections, and logistics to site.Supervise site installation activities, lead construction meetings, manage subcontractors, and enforce safety and quality standards.Use Procore for document control, submittals, RFIs, daily reports, and project communication.Use Autodesk tools (Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD) for model coordination, clash detection, and constructability reviews.Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, permitting requirements, and inspection processes; coordinate with authorities having jurisdiction.Manage client and stakeholder relationships, provide regular project updates, and address issues proactively to minimize risk and protect project schedule and budget.Lead project closeout, commissioning, punchlist resolution, and turnover documentation.Mentor and develop project staff, promote best practices for modular construction workflows and continuous improvement.QualificationsBachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field; equivalent experience considered.5+ years of project management experience in prefab/modular construction or heavy experience on modular projects; experience managing MEP scope required.Proven proficiency with Procore for project management, documentation, and field coordination.Proficiency with Autodesk suite (Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD) for BIM coordination and clash detection.Strong scheduling skills with experience using MS Project or Primavera; ability to develop and manage complex, linked schedules.Demonstrated budgeting and cost-control experience, including estimating, forecasting, and managing change orders.In-depth knowledge of MEP systems and coordination practices for prefabricated modules.Familiarity with applicable building codes, permitting, inspections, and regulatory compliance.Hands-on experience with site installation, logistics coordination, and field supervision of modular set and MEP tie-ins.Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.PMP certification or similar is a plus; OSHA 30, and experience with factory QA/QC programs preferred.Ability and willingness to travel to fabrication facilities and project sites as required.Candidates outside of Tejon Ranch, CA may work remotely, but are required to travel onsite as needed.
