Structured Cabling Technician

Title: Structured Cabling Technician Location: Huntersville, NC-Onsite Duration: Full-Time Pay Rate: $18/hr to $30/hr Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Structured Cabling Technician in Huntersville, NC. The Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting structured cabling systems, AV systems, Access control, and IP Cameras to support various technical requirements and ensure optimal performance. Qualifications Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills Experience in Customer Service Effective Communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Understanding of network infrastructure and cabling standards Design, install and maintain networks. Install and test Structured Cabling. Install and test surveillance and security cameras. Install Cat 6 cabling in new and existing construction. Terminate RJ 45. Experience working with fiber a plus. Manage and organize network closets and cabling. Install network cabinets and hardware. Experience with VOIP phone systems and IP Cameras Experience with Access control are a plus. Certifications in structured cabling (e.g., BICSI, RCDD) are a plus High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications preferred Will Train and must be able to travel.
