Job DescriptionTechnical AdministratorDepartment of Radiology has a full-time opportunity at our Upstate Township 5, Camillus NY location. A Technical Administrator who will lead our Radiology team members to strive for quality care in a fast-growing medical environmentTechnical StaffRecruitment and hiring of technical personnelManagement of technical staffEnsuring adequate technical staffing levelsEmployee development and trainingAnnual technical staff evaluationsResolves disciplinary/concerns. Coordination with Office Manager for Clerical StaffScheduling & Patient FlowPatient CareEnsuring that our practice delivers excellent patient care Resolution of patient concerns or complaintsQuality AssuranceQC of patient imagesReview and revise UH policies with UH staffFormulate protocols with physiciansCoordination of activities to ensure positive outcomes of biannual inspectionsMaintains accreditation status with the ACRSchedules mandatory continuing education programs for technical staff and CPR trainingPerforms and/or oversees all QA testing and coordination of physicist QA testingEquipmentCoordination of equipment maintenance.SuppliesOrders of supplies for all modalities.Project ManagementHelps with managing large scale projects to enhance/expand the practice.Runs various reports for the Practice Administrator as needed. Daily interaction with the Practice Administrator.Excellent communication skills needed. Technical Administrator will be expected to have a good working relationship with all referring offices, both physicians and staff.Minimum Qualifications:NYS License - ARRT.CT and/or MRI experience is a plusEPIC, PAC's and RIS experience neededManagement experiences a mustBLS CertificationKnowledge in CT, MRI and DRTeam PlayerMulti-TaskA full understanding of running a Radiology OfficeWill have access to some very private informationMUST be able to delegateA good understanding of QA, NYS Inspections and with ACR accreditationAbility to take direction from many sourcesWork well with upper managementTalk in a calm & professional manner with staff, patients, referring offices and MD'sSome conflict Management experience is helpfulAble to work independently and make decisions independentlyWill need to be able to answer calls at times while he/she is away from the officeWilling to go that extra mileOur benefits package includes health, dental and vision insurance, eligibility for employer 401k funding after 1 year (3% quarterly/5% annual on vesting schedule), tuition reimbursement, generous paid time off, including vacation and personal time, paid sick leave, holidays and floating holidays.
