Electronics Assembler - 2nd Shift

Role OverviewThe Electronics Assembler I is responsible for assembling high-reliability electronic and mechanical components, including circuit cards, wire harnesses, and final chassis assemblies.They perform soldering, crimping, inspections, and FOD checks, following detailed assembly drawings and electronic work instructions.The role requires adhering to FAA safety regulations and electro-static discharge procedures, utilizing various hand tools and equipment.Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble complex electronic and mechanical sub-assemblies, ensuring compliance with specifications.Perform soldering, crimping, and repair of circuit boards and wire harnesses.Follow assembly instructions, decipher BOMs, and maintain quality standards.Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow safety protocols.Qualifications & SkillsHigh School diploma or GED preferred; ability to understand instructions and perform basic math.Minimum of 1 year manufacturing assembly experience, preferably in electronics.Knowledge of FAA safety regulations and electro-static discharge procedures.Proficiency with hand tools, measurement devices, and cleaning processes.Key AttributesStrong attention to detail, safety consciousness, ability to interpret technical drawings, and work effectively in a team environment.
