OrganisationOur client is a privately held, boutique real estate development platform specialising in the delivery of large-scale, design-led residential and mixed-use projects across premier U.S. markets, including South Florida, New York, and select high-growth regions.With a track record spanning multiple decades, the firm focuses on a select number of high-impact developments, each characterised by architectural distinction, complexity, and strong place-making principles. Rather than pursuing high-volume, standardised product, the business is known for delivering bespoke, landmark assets that create long-term value for both residents and capital partners.RoleWith a pipeline of high profile, luxury residential projects in development, our client are kicking off the process to identify a development support for the next stage of a Multi-tower condo project in Miami.The AVP of Development will be responsible for supporting the execution of landmark luxury residential projects across Miami and South Florida, working on assets from pre-development through to completion and close-out.This individual will play a critical role in ensuring that projects are delivered to the highest standards of design, quality, and financial performance, consistent with the firm’s reputation for excellence.Key responsibilities include:Involvement across the full development lifecycle across ultra-luxury residential and mixed-use projectsManaging design, entitlements, permitting, and consultant coordination for complex developmentsOverseeing construction execution, working closely with general contractors and project teams to maintain quality, budget, and timelinesActing as the owner’s representative across all phases of deliveryCoordinating with internal investment, capital, and asset management teams to ensure alignment on project objectivesManaging relationships with architects, designers, municipalities, and joint venture partnersUpholding the firm’s brand, design vision, and attention to detail across all projectsSupporting the broader growth of the platform through process improvement and team leadershipCandidateThe ideal candidate will be a senior development professional with experience on high-end residential projects in South Florida or comparable markets.Key requirements include:Minimum 5+ years of development experience, with a strong focus on residential projectsProven track record delivering luxury, high-rise, or architecturally significant developmentsExperience managing projects through the full lifecycle (pre-development, design, construction, and completion)Understanding of Miami / South Florida development processes, including entitlements and permittingExperience working with top-tier architects, designers, and contractorsExceptional attention to detail and commitment to design excellence and quality executionAbility to operate effectively within complex, high-profile, multi-stakeholder environmentsStrong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to represent ownership at the highest levelThis role is best suited to an individual who combines technical development expertise with a passion for delivering best-in-class, iconic residential product, and who is motivated to play a key role in shaping some of the most prominent developments in the South Florida market.To apply for this role, please follow the Linkedin application process or reach out to Chris Smith with a copy of your resume at Chris.Smith@Redpathpartners.com
