Personal Injury Attorney

This role will focus on defending clients in a variety of complex matters, including personal injury, products liability, and premises liability cases. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing cases from inception through resolution.This is a fully remote role with an option to work in the office as much as you like.Key ResponsibilitiesManage a caseload of personal injury defense matters, including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and products liability claimsHandle all phases of litigation from initial investigation through trial or settlementDraft pleadings, motions, discovery demands/responses, and legal memorandaConduct depositions of plaintiffs, witnesses, and expertsAttend court appearances, hearings, arbitrations, and mediationsAnalyze liability and damages to develop case strategy and risk assessmentsWork closely with clients, insurance carriers, and experts to drive case outcomesNegotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution proceedingsPrepare for and participate in trials as neededQualificationsJ.D. from an accredited law schoolActive license to practice law in California1–8+ years of experience in personal injury defense, products liability, and/or premises liabilityStrong litigation skills, including motion practice and deposition experienceTrial experience or strong interest in trial work is a plusExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple cases and deadlines independently
