Company DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Fabrication Operator to join our team in Jackson, United States. As a Fabrication Operator, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process, operating various fabrication equipment and ensuring the production of high-quality components.Operate and maintain fabrication machinery and equipment, including cutting, bending, and welding toolsRead and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to produce parts according to specificationsSet up machines and adjust settings for optimal performance and precisionPerform quality checks on fabricated parts to ensure they meet required standardsFollow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work areaCollaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlinesIdentify and report any equipment malfunctions or safety concernsAssist in inventory management of materials and suppliesParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and product qualityQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent1-3 years of experience in manufacturing or fabricationProficiency in operating fabrication machinery and equipmentAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprintsStrong attention to detail and quality control skillsBasic math skills for measurements and calculationsSafety-conscious mindset and adherence to safety protocolsPhysical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 poundsExcellent time management and organizational skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environmentVocational training in manufacturing or fabrication is preferredFamiliarity with manufacturing industry practices is a plusAdditional InformationThe hourly rate for this role is in the range of $22.00 - $24.00 per hour. The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location.
