Outside Sales Agent (Business Development)

Job Title: Outside Sales Agent Location: We have open positions for candidates who should be based in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut & Pennsylvania. Solar/Renewable Energy experience NOT REQUIRED. Job Type: Contract/ 1099 Company Overview: Enact Solar is a rapidly growing CleanTech startup based in the San Francisco Bay Area, transforming how solar and energy storage resources are designed, deployed, and managed. The Opportunity: We are seeking an Outside Sales Agent who has expertise Business Development. The role requires you to generate customer leads from various businesses, such as Roofers, HVAC companies, Car Dealers, HOA,s, and any other business that would benefit from added revenue for their customers. This is a simple role with little to no training needed. Offering those customers a free home solar consultation delivers a service for the customer, and revenue to the signed businesses. This is a Contract role (1099) allowing you to earn commission based on signed businesses plus # of generated customer leads. More details on the role: 1. Prospecting and Lead Generation: - Identify and target potential clients through proactive prospecting - Generate leads through networking, cold calling, etc 2. Client Relationship Management: - Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients. - Understand clients' needs and offer solutions to address their challenges. - Provide excellent customer service and support to ensure client satisfaction. Requirements: - Proven experience as an Outside Sales Representative or in a similar role. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Self-motivated and able to work independently. - Familiarity with Automotive Industry Compensation: - Competitive commission-based compensation for signing new accounts + per customer lead generated.
