Production Tech

Adecco is seeking Production Technicians for our local client in Tempe, AZ. The Cannabis Production Technician is responsible for supporting the end-to-end manufacturing process of premium cannabis products. This role is hands-on and fast-paced, contributing directly to the creation of high-quality, compliant, sale-ready goods distributed to licensed dispensaries throughout the state. Technicians play a critical role in maintaining product consistency, safety standards, and operational efficiency.----------------------------------------Location: Tempe, AZPay: $16.50-$17.00Shift: 1st and 2nd shift availableMonday- FridayImportant: Candidates must possess a valid Arizona Marijuana Facility Agent (FA) Card with a minimum of 90 days remaining before expiration to be considered.Key Responsibilities:Production & Processing- Handle cannabis flower and oil with precision and care.- Weigh raw materials accurately according to batch specifications and SOPs.- Stuff, roll, fill, and assemble products to meet quality standards.- Monitor product consistency, appearance, and weight throughout production.- Assist with small-batch and large-scale production runs.Packaging & Labeling- Label, sticker, and package finished products in compliance with state regulations.- Inspect packaging for accuracy, legibility, and proper regulatory information.- Prepare finished goods for inventory transfer and shipment to dispensaries.- Maintain accurate batch tracking and production documentation.Performance & Compliance- Meet or exceed established cycle times and daily production quotas.- Work efficiently on a high-volume, manual production assembly line.- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).- Maintain strict adherence to safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards in compliance with OSHA guidelines.- Participate in quality control checks to ensure product integrity and compliance.- Immediately report defects, inconsistencies, or safety concerns to supervisors.Teamwork & Environment- Collaborate with production leads and team members to achieve daily operational goals.- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation at all times.- Adapt to changing production demands, product lines, and priorities.- Remain flexible with job rotation within departments as needed.----------------------------------------Required Skills & Abilities- Ability to work in a fast-paced, repetitive production environment.- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under time constraints.- Effective time management and productivity skills.- Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing repetitive hand movements.- Ability to lift up to 25–30 lbs as needed.- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.- Ability to receive and apply coaching and feedback constructively.----------------------------------------Education & Experience- High School Diploma or GED required.- Minimum 1 year of experience in a production, manufacturing, or assembly environment.- Experience manufacturing consumable or regulated goods strongly preferred.- Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) required.- Experience working in a regulated industry (food production, pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, etc.) is a plus.Interested?
