Security Systems Installer / Integrator

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Security Systems Installer / Integrator and become a vital part of safeguarding commercial and residential environments through cutting-edge security technology. Responsibilities Install and configure security systems such as CCTV surveillance, intrusion detection systems (IDS), fire alarms, access control panels, and low voltage wiring. Interpret schematics, technical drawings, and wiring diagrams to ensure precise system setup and integration. Conduct site surveys to assess construction conditions, cabling routes, power requirements, and mechanical considerations for optimal system placement. Test and troubleshoot hardware components including sensors, cameras, lock mechanisms, power supplies, and remote access software to guarantee operational excellence. Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and provide tailored system design solutions that meet their specifications. Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and repairs on installed systems to maintain peak performance. Document installation procedures, system configurations, and service reports accurately for ongoing support and compliance. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician or installer in security systems or related fields such as telecommunication or electrical work. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience to handle cabling, power tools, hand tools, and NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. Familiarity with computer networking concepts essential for remote access setup and system integration. Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams confidently. Knowledge of surveillance equipment including CCTV cameras and sensors; experience with alarm systems sales is a plus. Hands-on experience with low voltage wiring, fire alarm systems, locksmithing basics, and construction environments preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex security hardware issues efficiently.
