Details 23-bed step-down/progressive care unit in a hospital setting Adult patient population Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3-5 Unit is supported by PCTs, a healthcare unit coordinator, monitor techs, and virtual sitter monitoring Night shift: 18:30–07:00 13-week contract Requirements Active OK RN license or compact RN license currently in hand BLS and ACLS certifications required, both must be AHA-issued Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Valid US Social Security Number and US home address required Driver's license required for consideration 2 professional references required for consideration Additional Information Responsibilities include implementing and monitoring patient care plans, coordinating care across disciplines, carrying out physician and nursing orders, and assessing discharge planning needs Critical thinking skills and the ability to exercise decisive judgment with minimal supervision are essential in this role Standard precautions and appropriate PPE must be followed at all times Local candidates are accepted; however, candidates residing within the facility's radius may be subject to a reduced pay rate — contact your recruiter for details COVID-19 vaccination is not required for this position American Traveler Job ID P-688066.
