Position - Maintenance Technician I Location - San Leandro, CA Pay Range - $34 - $36/hr Employment Type - Full-time Work Authorization - Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future About the Role In this vital role, you will support the maintenance and operation of building systems within a client facility. As a Maintenance Technician I, you will support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment (MHE) and pneumatic systems throughout the building. Key Responsibilities Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical issues related to MHE, including belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more. Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment. Complete and accurately document preventative maintenance activities. Manage and maintain department inventory. Use appropriate tooling to troubleshoot simple AC/DC circuits, perform basic troubleshooting of MHE, and repair miscellaneous operational equipment as needed. Build strong working relationships with client personnel and Operations Maintenance team members. Required Qualifications Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future. High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). Experience and/or training in a related field. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, stooping, climbing stairs, and using ladders, with or without reasonable accommodation. Preferred Qualifications 1+ years of experience with material handling and conveyance systems. 1+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventive maintenance procedures.
