*Overview* We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Server to join our team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food handling and safety practices. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a memorable dining experience by delivering high-quality service, managing orders efficiently, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere. *Responsibilities* * Greet and seat guests promptly, presenting menus and providing information about specials. * Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha or Micros POS systems. * Deliver food and drinks to tables in a timely manner while ensuring proper presentation. * Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. * Manage cash handling, including processing payments and providing change accurately. * Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests. * Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines throughout all stages of food preparation and service. * Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly. * Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of supplies and reporting shortages as needed. *Requirements* * Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred, particularly in quick service or fast food environments. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. * Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing, including retail math knowledge. * Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is a plus. * Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is beneficial. * Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods. * Understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. * Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
