Job OverviewCasale Design Source is a specialty tile distributor serving designers, architects, contractors, and commercial clients. Our business operates at the intersection of design, construction, logistics, and customer service. With annual revenues between $1–4 million and a team of seven employees, we are seeking a strong operational leader to serve as second-in-command and oversee the day-to-day business operations.Our company's fit for this role would be a dynamic and energetic General Operations Manager to lead and optimize our organization’s daily operations. Over time, the General Operations Manager will assume primary responsibility for day-to-day operations, allowing the owner to step back from daily operational management while remaining engaged in the business.This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced setting and is passionate about delivering outstanding results.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily operations across departments, ensuring seamless coordination and communication among teams including:Sales and Showroom OversightWarehouse & Logistics OperationsCustomer Service and Vendor RelationsFinancial Operations and PayrollTeam Leadership and AccountabilityDevelop and implement operational strategies that align with organizational goals to enhance productivity, ensure smooth daily operations and workflow efficiency between teams, along with profitability of the company as a whole.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate operational and employee performance and identify areas for improvement.Lead, motivate, and authority to manage staff, to achieve high standards of service and product delivery.Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire teams and promote a positive work culture.Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, safety standards, and company policies.Sales and Revenue Oversight Work hand-in-hand with staff overseeing showroom activity, estimating, bidding, quote follow-ups, outside sales and pipeline activity, while growing commercial revenue.Serve as the escalation point for operational issues, visit job sites as needed, address product issues or concerns, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.Oversee all aspects of the payroll process and procedures to ensure compliance and policies are followed and approved.Responsible for financial oversight of all AR/AP, month-end, forecasting, and that all financial procedures are followed to ensure that company margins and profitability are met.Oversee warehouse organization, general efficiency, inventory, freight and delivery schedules, and safety compliance are followed.Job Requirements/Skills-RequiredThe ideal candidate is someone who can balance operational detail, financial responsibility, and strong customer relationships while keeping the business running smoothly day to day.Highly organized and detail orientedStrong financial acumenUnderstands margin protection and cost controlComfortable making firm financial decisionsConflict resolutionCan balance customer service with profitabilityComfortable in both office and warehouse environmentsTeam management experiencePrior operational experiencePrior knowledge of the hard surface flooring industry, construction supply, or design related industries is a plusQuickBooks knowledge a plusCurrent forklift experience or willingness to get certified is required.Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends as neededCompensation/Benefits$90,000–$120,000 annually based on experiencePerformance-based bonus potentialInsurance stipendSimple IRA matchPaid time offHoliday payPlease note that a comprehensive background check/drug test will be required for employment with ?Work Location: In-person/Office
