We're passionate about quality products and taking care of customersbecause great service is the whole point.Pay & SchedulePay Range: $21.00$25.00/hour (based on experience)Schedule: MondayFriday, flexible scheduling, 8-hour workdaysLocation: Springfield, MOAbout the RoleAs an Accounting Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing routine transactions, and providing insight to management on process improvement opportunities. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-driven, dependable and comfortable working with numbers and deadlines.What You Will DoReview, verify accuracy, and process overhead and shipping invoices dailyProcess cost allocation on outbound shipping expenses weeklyReconcile credit card transactions, research and resolve discrepanciesParticipate in month-end close processes including but not limited to account reconciliationsMaintain documentation and records in accordance with record retention policyCommunicate professionally with internal teams and external vendorsOther accounting tasks as assignedWhat We Are Looking ForRequired:3+ years experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and/or BookkeepingStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlinesExperience with accounting software/ERP systems (QuickBooks, Sage, etc.)Familiar with Excel (preferred experience: Pivot Tables, Macros, VLOOKUP)Basic understanding of GAAP (general ledger, debits/credits, accrual basis)Associate degree in Accounting/Finance or comparable experienceBenefits & PerksHealth, dental, and vision insuranceCompany-paid life insurance (and/or optional supplemental coverage)401(k) retirement plan (company match if applicable)Disability insuranceVacation, sick Time (PTO) and paid holidaysEmployee discount on productsGrowth & development opportunities (training, cross-training, process improvement projects)Stable, team-oriented environment with clear expectations and supportWork Location: In person
