Under immediate supervision, this positionwill participate in an agency sponsored training program for a period ofnot less than 6 months designed to prepare the incumbent for promotionto the title Internal Auditor I. The position will receive workassignments designed to acquire knowledge and skills in internalauditing duties and responsibilities.The position will learn to prepare detailed reports, summaries, andaudit questions in order to achieve the skills necessary to conductaudit field work and risk assessments. This position provides a greatopportunity for someone who is detail oriented and interested inlearning how to conduct auditing reviews in compliace with state laws,administrative mandates, rules, policies, and procedures. Conducts a preliminary review of the audited agency\'s functions,technology, and programs. Receives formal and inform al training in all aspects of internalauditing, including how to prepare and organize workpapersdocumenting work performed. Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonablywithin the scope of the duties enumerated above.## **Minimum Qualifications** Requires a bachelor\'s degree with coursework in accounting,auditing, business management, public administration,\economics, computer science, or other related subjects.
