Performance Engineer, Deep Learning and HPC

Overview NVIDIA has been transforming computer graphics, gaming, and accelerated computing for more than 25 years. Responsibilities Plan and execute performance benchmarking across a wide range of HPC and DL frameworks and applications. Aggregate, analyze, and present written and visual reports for internal sales, marketing, software, and hardware teams. Develop Python scripts to automate testing of DL & HPC‑focused applications. Work with engineering teams to debug performance issues. Assist with development of automated testing tools and processes. Qualifications B.S. in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience). 2+ years of experience. Excellent programming and debugging skills in Python or Unix shell. Advanced knowledge of Linux‑based systems (Ubuntu, CentOS). Proficient in compiling software from source, including error debugging. Excellent English verbal and written communication. Strong data analysis skills and report writing. Familiarity with container platforms such as Docker or Singularity. Preferred: experience with GPU‑enabled frameworks such as PyTorch, MXNet, or TensorRT. Preferred: experience with GPU‑enabled HPC applications (LAMMPS, GROMACS, Amber, etc.). Experience benchmarking on cloud solutions (AWS, GCP, Azure). Knowledge of compilers (GNU, Intel, PGI) and cluster orchestration. Benefits & Compensation NVIDIA offers competitive salaries, equity, and benefits. Base salary ranges from $116,000–$189,750 (Level2) and $136,000–$212,750 (Level3).
