Job Description:
The Material Handler 1st Shift plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth warehouse operations by managing inventory, moving materials efficiently, and maintaining organization within the facility. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, this position operates within a larger warehouse team during standard daytime shifts. The role supports loading, unloading, and the use of equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to facilitate material handling processes. All calls regarding this position will come from a 414 area code.
Wage:
$19/hrHours: 6am to 230pm M-FResponsibilitiesManage inventory control and accurate tracking of materials Coordinate material movement within the warehouse Load and unload shipments safely and efficiently Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in compliance with safety standards Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness Required Qualifications Experience with inventory management systems Knowledge of warehouse operations and processes Adherence to safety compliance protocols Physical stamina for handling manual tasks Strong attention to detail in all tasks Preferred Qualifications Minimum 1 year experience in material handling roles High school diploma or equivalent
