Come join our team as we transform the lives of others.Position SummaryThe Therapeutic Sales Specialist (TS) - Manhattan serves as a key representative of Crinetics Pharmaceuticals, Inc., within an assigned territory, with a primary focus on maximizing product sales by effectively communicating the value proposition of the Endocrinology portfolio to relevant stakeholders. This role is responsible for targeting and promoting Crinetics' therapeutic products to endocrinologists, general practitioners, and other healthcare providers, with the goal of driving business growth and achieving the company's strategic objectives.Essential Job Functions And ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a strategic business plan for a wide geographical area to effectively target, penetrate, and establish a network of relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders Effectively call on physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists, etc., across multiple medical subspecialtiesCall points include Physician’s office, Hospital Pharmacy, OR, ICU, etc.Fully understand and be able to communicate clear messages in complex clinical situationsManage hybrid relationships through a mix of in-person (70+%) and virtual engagement – being able to leverage next gen ways of working to maximize efficiencyUtilize data sources to maximize strategies and efficiencies to capitalize on opportunities with the greatest ROIAttain or exceed assigned sales and profit goalManage and track territory specific information through a CRM systemOther duties as assigned.Education And ExperienceBachelor’s degree with At least 8 years of Pharmaceutical, Medical Device or Healthcare Industry sales experienceAbility to work independently and manage key account relationshipsDemonstrated growth in sales while managing your own territoryDocumented track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales goalsBusiness acumen and strong comprehension of difficult clinical informationAbility to articulate complex clinical messages to Healthcare Providers in real time situationsExcellent organization and time management skillsOutstanding oral and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal and virtual engagement skillsAbility to work with a CRM tool (i.e., Veeva, Salesforce)Independent, with an ability to work within a teamStrong Leadership SkillsAttention to detail and follow-throughProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT, etc.)Preferred Experience IncludesEndocrinology Experience is preferredHospital Sales Experience – familiarity with P&T/Formulary processKnowledge of local/regional health systemsPhysical Demands And Work EnvironmentPhysical Activities: On a continuous basis, sit at desk for a long period of time; intermittently answer telephone and write or use a keyboard to communicate through written means.
