Traveling Ultrasound Tech / Sonographer

Salary: $2,342.51 - $2,542.51 /wk Join the team as an Ultrasound Technologist (Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) where you will operate specialized ultrasound equipment to produce diagnostic-quality images used by physicians to diagnose and treat medical conditions. This position is for a travel assignment in Winston-Salem, NC at a hospital. Minimum Requirements: ARDMS-AB certification required. Minimum 5 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer. BLS certification required. Experience with high-acuity patient populations including pediatrics and adults. Experience using GE Logiq equipment preferred. Experience documenting in EPIC or comparable EMR preferred. Ability to perform inpatient, outpatient, ED, and pediatric exams; willingness to float between areas as needed. Strong communication and time-management skills required. Previous experience in a hospital setting required. Orientation requirements: completion of facility NEO and 2 days departmental orientation. Preferred: candidate acceptance as a first-time traveler is allowed. Assignment Details Facility type: Hospital. Shift name: Nights. Shift schedule: Nights 10:00pm-7:00am, 9-hour shift, 36 hours per week, schedule cycles every 2 weeks. Patient types: Pediatric and adult, often high acuity. Weekend rotation: Depends on staffing needs. On call: No. Holiday expectations: No major holidays required. Scrub color: Black. Parking: Free.
