Inside Sales Representative
Position SummaryThe Inside Sales Representative is responsible for driving revenue growth by managing inbound inquiries, generating quotes, and supporting customers with service, maintenance, retrofit, and new construction needs related to commercial gates, doors, and access control systems. This role works closely with service, estimating, and operations teams to ensure timely, accurate proposals and a high level of customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities Sales & Customer EngagementRespond to inbound calls, emails, and online inquiries for service and project requestsQualify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutionsBuild and maintain strong relationships with contractors, property managers, and end usersFollow up on leads, proposals, and open opportunities to close salesEstimating & QuotingPrepare accurate quotes for service, repairs, maintenance agreements, retrofits, and small projectsReview plans, specs, and customer requirements for bid opportunitiesCoordinate with field technicians and estimators for scope verification and pricingEnsure proposals are submitted timely and professionallyAccount ManagementManage existing customer accounts and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunitiesPromote preventative maintenance agreements and long-term service contractsMaintain regular communication with key customers to drive repeat businessCoordination & SupportWork closely with dispatch, service, and installation teams to ensure smooth job executionCommunicate job scope, timelines, and customer expectations internallyAssist with scheduling and project handoffs as neededCRM & AdministrativeMaintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and customer interactions in CRMTrack sales activity, pipeline, and forecast updatesAssist with reporting and sales performance metricsQualifications2+ years of inside sales, customer service, or estimating experience (construction or service industry preferred)Experience in commercial doors, gates, access control, or related trades is a strong plusAbility to read basic plans, specs, or understand technical scopes is preferredStrong communication, organization, and follow-up skillsProficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
