Alert management of any suspicious activities or characters.Summon taxis, shuttle drivers, or valet parking attendants upon guest request; control traffic flow at hotel entrance.Coordinate baggage handling with bell-persons and/or luggage attendants; may assist with luggage handling as necessary.Assist departing guest will all luggage and transportation needs; invite departing guests back to the hotel and thank them for visiting.Perform other duties as assigned such as ensuring the hotel entrance is free of litter and debris.Qualifications and Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent, and one year guest service or doorperson experience preferred. Must speak fluent English. Other languages preferred.This job requires ability to perform the following:Carrying, pushing, or lifting items weighing up to 100 poundsHandling objects such as luggageBending, stooping, kneelingOther:Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with clients, guests and employees.Reading and writing abilities are utilized often when completing departmental records/logs, reading road signs, etc..May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.Work Area: Hotel Entrance, Lobby Area.The statements in this job description are intended to represent the key duties and level of work being performed.
