Senior Reliability Engineering Manager (Corporate - Multi-Site Manufacturing)Location: Bridgeville, PA (Corporate HQ)Travel: ~1 day per week to U.S. manufacturing sitesSchedule: Full-time, onsite (corporate)Compensation: $120,000-$140,000 base + full benefitsTeam Size: 3 direct reports, 6 indirect; ~50-person maintenance/reliability org influenceAbout the RoleWe are seeking a senior-level Reliability Engineering leader to drive the rollout of a company-wide Asset Reliability Management Program (ARMP) across four heavy industrial manufacturing facilities. This is a corporate leadership role, not a plant-based maintenance position. You will not be turning wrenches day-to-day. Instead, you will design reliability strategy, standardize preventive maintenance practices, lead cross-site reliability initiatives, and build a high-performing maintenance culture across legacy manufacturing environments.This role is ideal for an experienced reliability or maintenance engineering leader who has worked in steel mills, specialty metals manufacturing, or legacy heavy industrial plants and understands how to modernize maintenance programs on older equipment and infrastructure.What You'll OwnReliability Strategy & Program LeadershipLead the implementation of a corporate Asset Reliability Management Program (ARMP) across multiple manufacturing sitesDefine and standardize preventive maintenance, outage planning, RCA, and autonomous maintenance practicesEstablish reliability KPIs and governance across plantsPartner with plant leadership to drive culture change around reliability, uptime, and maintenance excellenceMulti-Site LeadershipLead and mentor 3 site-based Preventive Maintenance Engineers and influence a broader ~50-person maintenance and reliability organizationAct as a peer to Project Engineers and plant engineering leadersTravel approximately one day per week to support site teams, review reliability programs, and ensure consistency of executionPerformance, Standards & Continuous ImprovementBuild and track maintenance and reliability KPIsIdentify performance gaps across plants and replicate best practicesDevelop and maintain corporate maintenance and reliability standardsDrive cross-site improvement initiatives focused on uptime, safety, and equipment performanceSystems & InfrastructurePartner closely with CMMS leadership to ensure PM compliance, data integrity, and actionable reportingSupport continuous improvement of maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution workflowsRequired Experience & BackgroundIndustry Experience (Non-Negotiable)Experience in steel mills, specialty metals production, metal manufacturing, or heavy industrial plants with legacy equipmentFamiliarity with melt shops, blast furnaces, electric arc furnaces (EAF), forging, rolling mills, or similar equipment environmentsExperience modernizing maintenance practices in older, capital-intensive manufacturing facilitiesTechnical & Leadership BackgroundBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline5+ years of experience in reliability engineering, maintenance engineering, or industrial operations leadershipDemonstrated experience implementing Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) or similar reliability frameworksStrong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systemsExperience working with CMMS platforms (IBM Maximo strongly preferred)Leadership & Change ManagementProven ability to lead multi-site initiatives without direct day-to-day authority over plant teamsComfortable driving change in established, legacy manufacturing environmentsStrong communicator who can influence plant leadership, engineers, and maintenance teamsStrategic thinker who can build systems, processes, and culture-not just fix equipmentWhat Success Looks Like in This RolePreventive maintenance compliance and reliability KPIs improve across all sitesDowntime becomes measurable, predictable, and reducedMaintenance standards become consistent across facilitiesPlant teams adopt corporate reliability processesMaintenance culture shifts from reactive to proactiveBenefitsComprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time offProfit-sharing opportunitiesCareer growth within a multi-site industrial manufacturing organizationHigh visibility role with corporate engineering leadershipWhy This Role is UniqueThis is a rare opportunity to own reliability transformation across multiple legacy manufacturing plants.
