Customer Service Representative
CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Develop in-depth product knowledge to identify customer needs and deliver effective, personalized solutions
Communicate with customers via phone and email to build & maintain strong, positive relationships
Collaborate with the sales team to address customer inquiries and ensure a seamless service experience
Accurately process customer orders, inquiries, and requests in a collaborative, quick-response environment
Handle business transactions, including processing returns, credits, and authorizations
Coordinate with shipping, purchasing, and accounting departments to resolve issues and fulfill customer requests efficiently
POSITION REQUIRMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Ability to multi-task and exercise independent judgment
Ability to manage conflict
Detailed, professional, and strong communication skills
Microsoft Office
WORK ENVIRONMENT/ PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Primarily office-based with moderate noise levels & prolonged computer use
Office located in Des Plaines, IL
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8am-5pm with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break
Pay: $21.50 - $23.00 per hour
