Brush Clearing Specialist
Position OverviewThe Brush Clearing Specialist is responsible for maintaining safe, clean, and accessible land by removing brush, cutting trees, and operating equipment to support property upkeep. This role is hands‑on, physically demanding, and essential for managing vegetation, improving land usability, and supporting overall property maintenance.Key ResponsibilitiesClear brush, overgrowth, and unwanted vegetation from designated areasCut, trim, and remove trees using chainsaws and other cutting toolsOperate a tractor and related attachments (bush hog, grapple, loader, etc.) safely and efficientlyMaintain equipment by performing basic inspections and reporting mechanical issuesLoad, haul, and dispose of brush, logs, and debrisFollow safety protocols to prevent injuries and property damageAssist with general land management tasks as needed (grading, mowing, trail maintenance)Required Skills & QualificationsProven experience in brush clearing, forestry work, or land maintenanceAbility to safely operate a tractor and skid steerProficiency with chainsaws, trimmers, and other cutting equipmentStrong understanding of outdoor safety practicesAbility to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy materialsReliable, self‑motivated, and able to work independently.
