Sr. Operational Excellence Engineer

Overview In this role you will support Manufacturing Leadership by analyzing and redesigning processes to boost efficiency across the plant. You will work with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven improvements aligned with our continuous improvement goals. You’ll monitor key metrics and drive initiatives that remove waste and shorten cycle times, contributing to sustainable performance gains. This is a hands-on transformation role that links operational excellence with business planning and cost-saving opportunities. ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams on capacity versus mix changesProvide reporting analytics on continuous improvement initiatives and metricsMonitor and report on metrics such as cycle-time, DL Efficiency and On-Time-DeliveryDrive Operational Excellence methodologies to ensure sustainable process improvementsCapture real-time data for capital and cost-saving initiativesIdentify opportunities to remove waste and drive measurable improvementsServe as a resource for continuous improvement methodologies across areasGuide cross-functional teams in CI activities to reduce cycle time, inventory, overtime, headcount and waste while improving quality and costAssist in developing tools and processes for significant process improvement in Operations, Production, Quality, Maintenance Reliability and ManagementSupport manufacturing CI initiatives that boost operations performanceEngage with leadership during annual business planning to prioritize improvement opportunities Key requirementsBachelor in Industrial EngineeringMinimum 5 years leading and supporting CI projects in manufacturing, supply chain, or productionMinimum 3+ years in a traditional manufacturing engineering roleExperience with manufacturing methodologies and capacity modelingExpert in Excel data manipulation; SAP experience strongly preferredData analysis/manipulation and project management experienceExperience leading and educating on Lean methodologies and Kaizen eventsSystemic problem solving with root cause analysis and solution implementationCross-functional collaborationStrong problem-solving and instructional abilitiesAdaptability and change leadershipCapacity modelingExcel data manipulationSAP
