KAM: PARTS ADVISORKia of Amarillo - Amarillo, TX 79119Job SummaryAssist customers, attend the Parts Counter and perform any tasks related to the upkeep of Parts Department.Essential FunctionsAssist all customers (retail, wholesale and internal) in selecting required parts, suggest companion requirements, offer specials, and ensure that the customer is exposed to the full product lineBe friendly, professional and efficient when working with all customers and/or employees, both on the phone and in personPull purchased parts from stockAssist with warehouse stockingAssist with keeping the warehouse cleanAssist with shipping, receiving and deliveries as requested by managementPre-Hire RequirementsValid TX DL and acceptable driving record, acceptable background review, and negative drug screenEducation and Experience RequiredHigh school diploma or the equivalentBasic math, reading and writing skillsMust be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instruction furnished in written or oral diagrammatic formMust be able to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in or from standardized situationsStrong mental aptitudeStrong verbal communication skillsStrong personal initiativeAbility to use a computer and 10 key calculatorPhysical RequirementsFrequent standing, walking, bending/stooping/squatting, grasping/gripping, writing/typing, driving/operating equipment and vision (beyond arms length), sitting, hearing, speaking, able to lift/carry 1-75lbsOccasionally climb stairs/ladders, lying down, push/pull, reach above shoulders, and lift/carry 75- 150+lbsWorking ConditionsThe employee will work indoors and outdoors in a professional office/shop environment.Will be frequently rotating equipment, vehicles, elevators, lifts, tow-lines, etc.Will be exposed to fumes, chemicals, solvents, caustics, etc.Will be exposed to extreme temperatures.While this list is intended to be an accurate reflection of the current job, this is not necessarily an exhaustive list of responsibilities, skills, duties, requirements, efforts, or working conditions associated with the job.
