Senior Controls EngineerWe’re working with an engineering firm delivering automation solutions across warehouses and distribution centres. They’re looking for an Automation & Controls Engineer to support the design, build, and commissioning of high-throughput systems.This is a hands-on role focused on getting systems up and running and performing reliably.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, program, and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLC control systemsSupport automation across conveyors, sortation, AS/RS, and material handling systemsDiagnose faults across hardware and softwareWork with industrial networks (Ethernet/IP, Profibus, DeviceNet, etc.)Support commissioning, startup, and system optimisationAssist with control panels, electrical equipment, and field devicesWork closely with engineers, clients, and installation teams on-siteRequirementsDegree in Electrical Engineering (or similar)Strong experience with Allen-Bradley / Rockwell PLCs (essential)4-7 years in warehouse automation, logistics, or manufacturing or a comparable field Hands-on commissioning and troubleshooting experienceFamiliar with industrial networks and control systemsAble to work in a client-facing, site-based environment
