FLSA StatusExemptPurpose of PositionReporting to the Director, Digital Marketing & Events, the Manager, Event Marketing & Digital Strategy is a catalyst for growth and innovation across The MedTech Conference and AdvaMed's broader event portfolio. This dynamic role champions creative digital marketing and social media initiatives, leads event and webinar marketing, and drives operational excellence through data, reporting, and project management. The Manager is empowered to explore and adopt emerging tools and technologies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact, imaginative campaigns, elevate the attendee experience, and advance AdvaMed's modernization and growth objectives.Essential Duties of PositionDigital Marketing & Social Media Management (MedTech Conference Focus)Develops, coordinates, and executes digital and social media campaigns for The MedTech Conference, leveraging automation tools (HubSpot) for targeted outreach and engagementMaintains and optimizes the MedTech Conference website (WordPress), ensuring content is current, impactful, and aligned with event goalsDevelops email campaigns in HubSpot, building out design, templates, and compelling copy using style guides and AI tools; provides copyediting, designs support, and serves as a lead contributor to the MedTech Conference email planTracks and analyzes campaign performance across all channels, developing post-campaign reports and recommendationsComposes and refines compelling content for digital and print promotional materials (PowerPoints, flyers, digital ads, social media graphics, brochures, etc.)Builds and maintains relationships with key partners by sharing promotional tools, updates, and resources in a timely mannerEnhances the customer experience for conference attendees, including support via email, website, chatbot, and FAQ development________________________________________Association Marketing, Events, & WebinarsSupports digital marketing efforts for AdvaMed's broader event portfolio, including webinars and association initiativesWorks in collaboration with Public Affairs, Membership, and other teams to promote membership, non-dues revenue activities, and new initiatives across AdvaMed's digital channelsSupports the execution of marketing deliverables for sponsors and partners, ensuring timely fulfillment and alignment with organizational goalsCoordinates with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and project execution for events and webinars________________________________________Marketing Team Operations, Data, & ReportingSupports the adoption and ongoing coordination of Monday.com project management tool, building boards and optimizing workflows to improve team efficiency and cross-departmental collaborationDesigns graphic assets for promotion using Canva (social media graphics, one-pagers, digital ads)Coordinates invoices, contracts, and related documentation to ensure timely processing and adherence to deadlinesProvides administrative support for the marketing team, including meeting coordination, and management of the overall marketing calendarOversees data management and event platform activities to ensure a seamless attendee experienceTracks and analyzes campaign performance, developing reports and actionable insightsProactively seeks opportunities to improve the user experience and streamline digital processes through martech tools and best practicesKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesRequiredDemonstrated experience with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot experience preferred)Proven event marketing experience, including campaign development and execution for conferences or large-scale eventsHands‐on experience with WordPress or similar web content management systemsDemonstrated project management experience, including the ability to manage workflows, content calendars, and coordinate cross‐team deliverablesExperience designing graphics and promotional assets using Canva or similar toolsAnalytical skills with experience tracking and reporting on campaign performanceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work effectively with cross‐functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‐paced environmentSelf‐starter with a growth mindset and commitment to continuous learningPreferredExperience with Salesforce, event platforms, and martech toolsFamiliarity with data management and reporting best practicesPrior experience supporting membership or non‐dues revenue initiativesSpecificationsMinimum Education Required: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related fieldMinimum Experience Required: 3+ years' experience with at least 1-2 years of relevant marketing experience, preferably in events, associations, or non‐profit environmentsTravel Required: Up to 10%Hybrid Work Policy: Teleworker: Employees report onsite regularly with some duties performed at home-based or alternative worksites within the Washington, DC Metropolitan area (MD, DC, VA).
