This role ensures accuracy, compliance, and alignment between contract management systems and the general ledger. Beyond core accounting responsibilities, the position plays a critical leadership role in stabilizing and developing a newly formed team following a headquarters relocation. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can build team culture, develop talent, and drive process improvements. The role offers a dynamic environment where finance, accounting, and strategy intersect, providing hands-on experience with portfolio management, IFRS, and contract management systems.Key ResponsibilitiesFinance Portfolio & Technical AccountingOversee accounting for loans, leases, floorplan financing, and capital loan portfoliosEnsure accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closeMaintain alignment between contract management systems (ALFA) and the general ledgerEnsure compliance with IFRS standardsResolve reconciliation issues across sub-ledgers and GL General Accounting & Shared ServicesOversee AP, AR, intercompany, fixed assets, and shared servicesManage and optimize back-office/offshoring operations for high-volume transactional workEnsure accurate financial reporting and strong internal controlsSupport audit requirements and regulatory compliance Systems & TransformationSupport implementation of global SAP systemLead or support system enhancements, testing, and process improvementsDrive automation and standardization across accounting processes Leadership & Team DevelopmentLead, coach, and develop a team including managers and individual contributorsBuild team culture, engagement, and accountability within a newly structured organizationAddress skill gaps and develop team capabilities in financial services accountingPartner cross-functionally with Finance, IT, and Operations Qualifications8-10+ years of accounting experienceProven people leadership and team development experienceStrong background in portfolio accounting and general accountingIFRS experience requiredExperience with financial services (equipment/automotive finance or banking preferred), loans, leases, and/or floorplan financing,ERP systems (SAP preferred), Contract management systems (ALFA software strongly preferred)Ability to operate in a changing, fast-paced environmentAbility to build structure, consistency, and team cohesionCategory Code: JN001, JN005#LI-LS2
