With a focus on U.S. Air Force Mission Planning systems, ELB provides highly skilled personnel and solutions that ensure system accuracy, operational readiness, and mission success across global environments.Position OverviewELB is seeking a Software Security Team (SST) Analyst to support U.S. Air Force mission planning operations at Hill Air Force Base. This role directly supports U.S. Air Force mission planning operations by identifying and remediating system vulnerabilities, maintaining patch management processes, and ensuring cybersecurity compliance across Mission Planning Environments.The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, technically strong cybersecurity professional who can operate independently, support field teams, and contribute to mission-critical system integrity in a dynamic operational environment.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify, prioritize, and remediate system vulnerabilities using cybersecurity tools, including Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)Test, validate, and deploy software patches and updates to maintain secure and compliant mission planning systemsDevelop and maintain configuration-controlled Group Policy Objects (GPOs) supporting systems within the Air Force networkTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues through structured analysis, testing, and coordination with crossfunctional teamsCollaborate with engineers and testers to identify and resolve software deficiencies impacting mission planning system performanceServe as a technical resource to program leadership and field personnel on patch management, vulnerability remediation, and cybersecurity complianceRequired QualificationsU.S. CitizenshipActive DoD Secret Security ClearanceCompTIA Security+ certification (required within 6 months of hire)Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field OR 4+ years of relevant experienceExperience with Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11)Basic knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), and vulnerability scanning toolsPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting U.S. Air Force Mission Planning systemsExperience with PowerShell scriptingExperience working in classified or mission-critical IT environmentsCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salaryComprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchResponsible Time Off (RTO) aligned with operational needs40 hours of paid sick leave annuallyPaid holidaysCompany-paid basic life insuranceAccess to additional leave programs, including parental and medical leave supportProfessional development and growth opportunitiesWhy Join ELBThis role directly supports mission readiness and cybersecurity compliance for U.S. Air Force operations.
