Our center integrates advanced sleep diagnostics with comprehensive airway evaluation in a multidisciplinary setting. We work at the intersection of medicine, technology, and patient experience-bringing precision, compassion, and innovation to sleep health.
Key Responsibilities
Provide ongoing medical direction and oversight of sleep testing and clinical operations.
Lead the setup of the sleep laboratory, including protocol development, staffing structure, and workflow design.
Oversee and complete AASM accreditation, including initial application, policies, quality assurance programs, and ongoing compliance.
Interpret and report diagnostic sleep studies, including polysomnography and home sleep apnea testing, in accordance with AASM standards.
Ensure compliance with AASM standards and all legal and regulatory requirements.
Maintain and direct the quality assurance and performance improvement program.
Verify staff qualifications, training, and competency.
Serve as a liaison between clinical staff, referring physicians, and organizational leadership.
Support innovation in diagnostic workflows, technology integration, and patient experience.
Qualifications
MD or DO with board certification in Sleep Medicine.
Active or eligible medical license in South Carolina.
Minimum 1 year experience as a Medical Director of an accredited sleep center.
Demonstrated leadership in clinical operations, compliance, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
