Licensed Practical NurseThe primary role of a LPN is the oversight, coordination and direct intervention of any and all health-related issues directly or indirectly related to any and all participants of the program.Essential Duties and Functions:Maintains nursing documentation and medication recordsAssists residents in learning about their medications; assures that medications are taken as physician ordered and recorded in electronic MARProvides nursing care including, but not limited to, wound care, trach care, diabetic counseling, etcAssesses residents' health and emotional needsCommunicates with other members of the nursing and program staff; communicates serious issues to Nurse Manager and Program DirectorMaintains confidentiality, including keeping voice low and not talking about residents in public areasOther duties as assignedQualifications:Licensed Practical Nurse with current licenseLifting Requirements:Medium: exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.Job Type:Part-timePay:$29.43 - $35.44 per hourExpected hours:8 16 per weekBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceFlexible scheduleHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceStandard shift:Day shiftWeekly schedule:No weekendsLicense/Certification:LVN (Preferred)BLS Certification (Required)LPN (Required)Ability to Commute:Philadelphia, PA 19121 (Preferred)Ability to Relocate:Philadelphia, PA 19121: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location:In person
