IT Technical Support Specialist

MTEA is currently looking to fill a position for IT Technical Support Specialist in Franklin, Indiana. The IT Technical Support Specialist is responsible for supporting the Franklin IN staff with technical and administrative work in planning and installation of new and existing company devices and workstations; diagnose and resolve problems as they arise with employees. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of the installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, phones and scanners Monitor and maintaining computer systems and networks Respond in a timely manner to service issues and requests Provide help desk / technical support to the Turbo team onsite and remote employees Repair and replace equipment as necessary Actively update, maintain and monitor all aspects of computer networks Resolve technical issue related to network interruptions Organize and file documentation pertaining to warranties and instructional guides computer hardware Manage communications and working relationships between IT and other departments within the organization Ensure security of information technology assets, data, network access, and backup systems and supervise agreed audits to verify the security of internal and external systems Back-up to HR Gate and Badge access Serve as the technical lead or project manager for system implementation projects Bring consistency to project execution and life cycle management of systems Identifying opportunities for IT training and skills advancement Perform other duties as assigned by MTEA Management. Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a computer science or a related technology field preferred Experience in product inventory, shipment management systems, traceability systems (Barcode management systems) Experience with Windows servers, Active Directory, Exchange, Microsoft Office products and Firewall are all a plus. At least 2-3 years of relevant IT experience Strong computer skills in troubleshooting including QA applications, word processing, Excel, and databases. Time-management skills and the ability to establish reasonable and attainable deadlines for resolution Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) across all internal levels ERP administration is a plus Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time throughout the shift. Must be able to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Must be able to occasionally move up to 40 pounds. Ability to lift around 40 lbs. Ability to stand throughout the shift Excellent organizational skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Good prioritization skills and be flexible enough to adapt to changing plans Great IT skills combined with a good head for business
