Apartment Groundsperson

We are looking for a detail oriented grounds person for our apartment community in the Lansing area. The team is looking for someone that is customer service focused, organized, developmental, self driven, passionate and transparent. We offer up to $19/hr.DUTIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO: Keep the grass and shrubs green and healthy. Maintain flowerbeds and all plant material. Assist with general maintenance in punch out of units including caulking, re-key locks, make keys, A/C Service, appliances, electric, plumbing, drywall, tile, wallpaper, formica, porcelain repairs, window, light bulb, safety equipment, and blind replacement. Police the grounds every day for trash and maintain the overall cleanliness of the property. Maintain the pool area-vacuum, scrub tiles and monitor the chemicals. Pressure wash buildings and breezeways where necessary. Repair and replace parts for irrigation system. Monitor dumpster containers and keep dumpster area free of garbage. Maintain exterior lighting fixtures and replace bulbs as necessary. Keep parking areas, breezeways, and common areas swept and clean. Maintain recycling center on property. Genuine care and courtesy shown toward all residents, prospects, vendors and coworkers. Full understanding and compliance with fair housing regulations and applicable Federal, State, City, and County ordinances. Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Accurate implementation of the Hayman Company Policy and procedure as outlined in the policy manual. Show a willingness to learn new procedures and tasks. Work under pressure and meet deadlines. Set priorities. Adhere to the proper dress code requirements as stated in the policy manual. Timely completion of work orders scheduled.
