Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Ophthalmic Technician located in Indianapolis, IN. The Ophthalmic Technician will assist the ophthalmology team by conducting diagnostic tests, performing fundus photography, and scribing during patient consultations. Key responsibilities include supporting the delivery of high-quality eye care services, documenting patient information accurately, and aiding in specialized procedures to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Qualifications Experience in Optometry and OphthalmologyProficiency in Scribe duties to document patient information accurately and efficientlySkill in performing Fundus Photography as part of diagnostic proceduresBasic understanding of Medicine, particularly in the context of eye careStrong communication and interpersonal skills to provide excellent patient careGreat attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced clinical settingCertification as a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) or similar qualification is a plus
