This paid position offers a dynamic environment where your communication skills and hospitality expertise will shine, making every guest feel valued from the moment they arrive. *Duties* * Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression * Manage restaurant reservations efficiently using restaurant table management systems * Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table utilization and minimize wait times * Answer incoming phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, assisting with reservations and inquiries * Maintain organized waitlists and communicate wait times clearly to guests * Assist with guest services by addressing special requests and ensuring guest comfort throughout their visit * Support food safety standards by maintaining cleanliness in the host station and adhering to hygiene protocols *Qualifications* * Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred * Strong communication skills with the ability to handle phone conversations professionally * Familiarity with restaurant reservation management and restaurant table management systems such as Chowbus is a plus * Excellent organizational skills to manage reservations, waitlists, and guest flow effectively * Basic math skills for handling seating calculations and managing guest counts accurately * Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude * Knowledge of POS systems and experience with food safety standards is a plus * Hospitality or restaurant experience that highlights guest relations and service excellence Join us in creating memorable dining experiences by providing outstanding guest service in a lively, fast-paced environment.
