IT Support Specialist II

Job Title: IT Support Technician II Location: Washington, DC Work Type: (Onsite) Remote Work: (None) Responsibilities Experience: Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience providing desk side and/or service desk IT support, specializing in troubleshooting end-user issues with hardware and software. Must have a broad base of knowledge and be fluent in multiple IT disciplines such as computing, computer workstations, computer hardware and software, productivity tools, applications and networking. CompTIA A+ certification may be substituted for 1 year experience. Duties: Responsible for providing desk side and/or call center support to end users for complex issues. Escalation point for IT Support Tech level 1. Researches end-user issues and develops a plan for remediation. Performs research and resolution support independently. Creates, updates and closes, incident and service requests with the IT service management system. Adheres to IT Processes and SOPs. Clearance Need to be able to obtain a Public Trust Compensation and Benefits Salary Range: $45-62 hourly (Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.)
