Job DescriptionTITLE: Electronics / Mechanical Assembler IIIReports to: Supervisor / ManagerJob Summary**Assemble electronics according to product specifications.Soldering under maglight sheilded cablesSoldering experience with wiresFollows Visual Aids to put together Mechanical and Electronic products.Using hand and power tools and other assembly equipment.Utilize quality practices and procedures to assure that the assemblies are accurately and effectively manufactured.Maintains a clean, neat and orderly area.Responsible for the quality and accuracy of own work.ACCOUNTABILITIES/ SCOPE**Interfaces:*Inter-company personnelPeople Managed: *None*Decisions: *Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.Performs a variety of complicated tasks.May lead and direct the work of othersImpact of Error: Direct impact on product quality.**Knowledge/ Skills**Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.Experience with soldering equipment and wires to hostExperience with clean room environmentExcellent knowledge of IPC-610 workmanship requirements.Understanding of ESD ProtocolsAbsolute attention to detailExcellent Communication SkillsAbility to adapt to various tasks in a fast paced environmentA wide degree of creativity and latitude is requiredEDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE**High School diploma and or GED or equivalent work experience.Working knowledge of IPCExperience with optics preferred (i.e. assemblies that include lenses, etc)At least 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area.Nothing in this job description restricts management’s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.
