General Production Worker

General Production Worker Join a leading North American manufacturer specializing in cold-formed steel framing products. As a general production worker, you will play a crucial role in supplying the construction and building-materials industry with top-quality structural and non-structural steel framing systems.Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor roll-forming machines to produce steel framing components according to specifications.Adjust machine settings such as speed, pressure, and tooling alignment to maintain product quality.Perform coil changes, thread material through the line, and verify correct gauges and widths.Conduct routine inspections of equipment and tooling before and during operation.Maintain production rates and minimize downtime.Inspect finished products for dimensional accuracy, straightness, and surface quality using calipers, tape measures, micrometers, and gauges.Load and unload steel coils using forklifts, overhead cranes, or pallet jacks if certified.Label, bundle, and package finished products for shipment.Receive finished studs, tracks, or trims as they exit the roll-forming machine.Stack, align, and bundle products according to order specifications.Apply strapping, banding, and protective materials to secure bundles.Move completed bundles to staging areas using pallet jacks or forklifts if certified.Assist machine operators with coil changes, line cleanup, and basic production tasks when needed.Essential Skills Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or production environments.Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for long periods.Basic math and measurement skills, with proficiency in using tape measures.Capability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.Strong attention to detail and quality.Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in metal fabrication or roll-forming environments.Forklift certification.Familiarity with packaging equipment, banding tools, or industrial strapping.Understanding of steel framing products such as studs, tracks, and trims.Why Work Here?
