Security - Part Time (Could lead to full time)

Security – 4pm-12am and/or 11pm-7am Location: Old Barnwell – Aiken, South Carolina About Old Barnwell: Nestled on 575 acres of sandy soil and rolling hills surrounded by towering longleaf and loblolly pines, Old Barnwell is a private national club near historic Aiken, South Carolina. Founded in 2023, Old Barnwell is more than a golf club—it is a welcoming community that brings together individuals from all walks of life to celebrate the spirit of the game. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a warm, organized, and service-oriented individual to join our team as a Security Officer. Position Overview: We are seeking a dependable and vigilant Overnight Security Guard to safeguard our private golf course, clubhouse, members and guests during nighttime hours. Ideal candidates are self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently through overnight shifts. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and patrol the grounds, clubhouse, and perimeter during assigned shift Ensure all gates, doors, and buildings are secured throughout the night Respond to alarms, disturbances, or any unusual activity Monitor surveillance systems and report any suspicious behavior Maintain detailed logs of nightly activities and incidents Coordinate with emergency services if needed Provide courteous assistance to any staff or authorized visitors after hours Provide support with operational tasks from various departments, as time permits during the shift. Qualifications & Skills: Prior security or law enforcement experience is a plus High school diploma or GED Must be 18 years or older Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Ability to walk or stand for extended periods and work in varying weather conditions Strong communication and observation skills Must pass a background check Why Join Old Barnwell?
