This role partners directly with clients, coordinates with vendors and venues, contributes to proposal and budget development, and ensures smooth on‑site logistics. Event Managers at Just Right! DMC play a key role in delivering polished, well‑organized experiences while growing their skills within a collaborative Operations Team.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:·       Develops and maintains detailed timelines and related planning documents to support smooth program execution for all assigned events.·       Coordinates with vendors and venues to confirm availability, secure services, and manage program‑specific requirements.·       Prepares accurate proposals, transportation manifests, and supporting documents based on client needs and program design.·       Participates in site inspections as needed to support program design and planning.·       Serves as a consistent point of contact for clients and vendors during the planning process, ensuring updates, confirmations, and next steps are communicated clearly.·       Manages events on‑site, overseeing vendor load‑ins, guest flow, transportation coordination, and real‑time problem solving.·       Tracks program expenses, gathers receipts and documentation, and assists with post‑event billing reconciliation.·       Maintains organized program files, ensuring all details, communications, and documents are up to date and accessible to the Operations Team.·       Builds and sustains positive working relationships with vendors, venues, and industry partners to support successful program delivery.·       Develops a working knowledge of JRDM pricing, service offerings, and operational capabilities to support accurate planning and client communication.·       Represents JRDM professionally in client interactions, meetings, and communications.·       Attends staff meetings, networking events, and client meetings to support team alignment and business development.JOB SPECIFICATIONS:·       2-3 years of experience in event planning, hospitality, or a related field, preferably in a DMC environment.·       Strong written and verbal communication skills.·       Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.·       Proficient computing skills and a willingness to learn internal systems.·       Bachelor’s degree in Business, Meeting/Event Planning, or a related field preferred.·       Excellent organizational skills.·       Outstanding people skills; ability to work with a variety of personality types.·       Highly motivated self-starter; comfortable working independently.·       Willingness to travel and work in a diverse team of professionals.·       Flexibility to work evenings and weekends based on program schedules.·       Ability to work reliably from home using a personal computer or laptop, cell phone, and standard office equipment.WORKING CONDITIONS·       This is a remote position; the majority of work will be performed at home.
