Shape the uptime of a precision aerospace operation TekPro is partnering with a leading aerospace manufacturer in Rochester, NY to hire an experienced Maintenance professional for an A Shift role. If you love solving tough mechanical problems and keeping complex machinery running at its best, this role is for you. A day in the life You start your shift in a clean, air-conditioned shop surrounded by high-precision equipment. A production cell flags a performance drop — you diagnose it: mechanical inspection, then a look at pneumatic and hydraulic circuits. You perform corrective maintenance, return the line to spec, then schedule preventive work to reduce repeat issues. Later, you assist with a new machine install — leveling, alignment, calibration, and final adjustments — collaborating closely with engineering and production to validate safety and performance. By shift’s end, you’ve increased equipment reliability and supported on-time delivery. What you’ll take on Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and machinery Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems Maximize equipment uptime to meet production goals Assist with installation, calibration, and adjustment of machinery and tooling Partner with engineering and production to drive safe, efficient operations Support continuous improvement across maintenance practices What you bring 2+ years as a maintenance mechanic in manufacturing (aerospace preferred) Hands-on experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Ability to read technical drawings and schematics Sharp troubleshooting skills and strong attention to detail Safety-first mindset and a commitment to quality Compensation, shift, and setting Pay: $25 – $38 per hour, based on experience Shift: A Shift Environment: Clean, high-precision aerospace manufacturing facility; air-conditioned Extras: Strong overtime opportunities Stability: Long-term career opportunity with a stable aerospace manufacturer Location: Rochester, New York Ready to move your career forward?
